A measurement is only as valuable as the report it leads to. That’s why every emission CHARM® detects goes through a two-step evaluation by our experts before it reaches you – so your teams act on relevant findings, not on noise.
Two-Step Evaluation – Relevant or Not
High-performance sensing finds every emission along the route – including methane that has nothing to do with your network: cattle barns, biogas plants, mining activity, landfills. In our two-step evaluation, every detection is thoroughly inspected and visually verified, then classified as a relevant finding or a non-relevant detection.
You receive both: a report of all detected emissions with their classification, and a focused report of the relevant findings – the ones worth sending a crew to. The difference matters. On a recent campaign covering 2,602 km in 13 days, CHARM® detected 163 emissions. Only 52 of them were relevant to the operator – and of those, the majority were known, technically caused emissions. Without classification, field teams would have driven out more than a hundred times for nothing.
GERG Independent Verification
You don’t have to take our word for the numbers behind your report. In the GERG technology benchmark – blind tests with controlled methane releases at a real compressor station – CHARM® ranked among the most accurate of all tested technologies, and as the most accurate airborne method. Every quantification in your report rests on independently verified performance.
Data Access via Web-GIS
All survey results are available online in your password-protected Web GIS – on any desktop browser or as an app for Android and iOS. Your field teams can locate, analyse and document every finding directly on site with a GPS-capable tablet: from indication on the map to verification in the field, without media breaks.
Visual Snapshot Documentation
Every finding is documented with a georeferenced aerial snapshot of the site. Your teams see exactly where an emission surfaced and what the location looks like before they drive out – and your compliance file gains visual, traceable proof of every inspection.
