Every section of the pipeline is thoroughly inspected and visually checked, and every finding is separated into relevant leaks and non-relevant detections – emissions from biogas plants, mining activity, or other external sources. The EU Methane Regulation defines the targets for emission monitoring, while the recognised technical benchmark for airborne detection is set by DVGW G 465-4-5. CHARM® is the only airborne service certified to that standard, with performance independently verified against defined criteria.
